Dr. Leah Rankin grew up in Cornelius, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from NC State University. She earned her Dental Degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2014. Following Dental school, Dr. Rankin completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. She then went on to complete her Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Air Force, serving as a Captain and then Major at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Dr. Rankin recently relocated to the Triangle with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, running, traveling, sailing, and cooking. She is thrilled to be a part of the Emerald Family Dental team and can’t wait to meet you and your family!
